Rewards & CONSEQUENCES
Students begin each week with $10 in “Super Cash” and 2 “Boom” tickets.
Super Cash
In addition to the free $10 in “Super Cash” at the beginning of each week, students earn “Super Cash” each class period by being Responsible, Respectful, and Safe in the classroom, hallway, bathroom, library, etc…
Students also lose (Pay the Pot) “Super Cash” each class period for not being Responsible, Respectful, and Safe.
One class member wins “The Pot”
of “Super Cash” at the end of each day.
Why Super Cash?
Students love “Super Cash!” “Super Cash” is used to buy items or coupons from our Superhero Store. “Super Cash” is also used to buy items during our classroom auctions.
“Boom” Tickets
Weekly, each student will receive 2 tickets. The student earns Friday Reward Recess if zero “Boom” tickets are given to the teacher. If both “Boom” tickets are given for missing homework, severe behavior / office referrals, the student spends the Friday Reward Recess filling out an action plan.
“Boom” tickets are also used in a weekly raffle!
Please refer to the student handbook on the district website for a more detailed explanation of school rules and severe behaviors.
Action plans may or may not need to be signed by parent and returned to school the next school day.

Grading Policy
Grades will reflect student ability and effort. Grades are taken frequently from such sources as work completed in class, homework assignments, tests, and quizzes.
- All assignments are to be handed in on time and completely finished.
- Homework reviewed or checked in class earns points for completion. This encourages students to try every problem.
- A point value is assigned per question for collected, graded homework.
- Quizzes may be given to check student progress and knowledge.
- Grades from tests are weighted more heavily and count double point value. Please help your child to study for all tests.
