About Miss Koesterer Hi! My name is Lyndsay Koesterer. Here are a few things about me:
I grew up in Waterloo. I live at home with my family. My sisters name is Kati. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University. I have two dogs that I love Lily & Louie. I love watching sports, especially the Cardinals.
Now, for what is most important to all of you. I genuinely love working with children and am so blessed to be in a career where I can do so on a daily basis. In the past, I have worked at St. John Neumann Catholic School as a preschool teacher and at Child’s World Preschool. I also have worked at our schools Kennel Klub before and after school program. Prior to working at Kennel Klub I was a teacher at the Lighthouse Learning Center in Waterloo. My student teaching experience was in Waterloo Community School District #5 at Rogers Elementary School. There I taught second grade. I believe these experiences have prepared me to be an outstanding kindergarten teacher for your child.
In my career, I have met many amazing children and made many wonderful memories. I look forward to getting to know you and your wonderful child and making many more wonderful memories this year. If you have any questions or suggestions for me, or would just like to get to know me better, please feel free to talk to me at any time. I also would love to have you help out at school if you feel compelled. Your child will appreciate this too! Just let me know if you are interested. Thank you so much for accepting me as part of your child’s life. I LOVE teaching & I am very excited to teach Kindergarten here at Zahnow Elementary. I’m so fortunate to have the opportunity to work in such an amazing school district. I enjoy being a part of the growth students make in their first year of school.
